Tomorrow 24th July 2015 is a great day for Kenyans and Africa at large as we welcome the coming of The 44th President of The United States of America Barrack Obama. We are overjoyed that a sitting United States President is visiting Kenya. We hope and pray that President Obama's visit will change the economy of Kenya and Africa at large. The 2 day Global Entrepreneur Summit will create partnership with investors from US firms.
Over 20 Companies from the United States are in Kenya for the 2 day summit to join hands with small and medium ventures to realize growth objectives.Over 20 firms are planning to invest Ksh.20 Billion in partnership with small and medium enterprises.
Dr. Malcolm Beech, President of the Greater Washington National Business league, said that Big businesses are eating up all the revenues in the Developed world, they are capturing all the attention, leaving SME's without capital and support for their businesses. He also said they want to partner with local businesses and setup local plants that will enhance US-Kenya trade relations. He was speakingat the USA-Kenya Trade Direct Business Forum in Nairobi.
The expatriates are organizing a meeting ahead of the summit to create a rapport with local companies in energy, oil and gas, building and construction, education, media, health and horticulture sector to help them grow their business.US electricity generation firm Africa Energy resources is looking to use garbage as the raw material for electricity production.
The economy of Kenya and  Africa at large will not be improved by politicians but by entrepreneurs  and especially SME's.Customers in the US are waiting for products from the region and hopefully be provided by the partnership in progress.
Finally I say this is the Africa we need "More Trade Less Aid".SME are the only way Kenya will build its Economy.
